Welcome

I am currently working towards earning a PhD at the University of Colorado at Boulder. My research is with the Computational Modeling of Energy Systems group led by Olivier Desjardins. We work on developing and applying computational fluid dynamics techniques to simulate the complex flows found in liquid jets. The research is pushing the current limits of computational techniques.

I enjoy spending my free time in Colorado's beautiful mountains hiking, mountain or road biking, downhill or cross-country skiing, rock climbing, backpacking, and anything else that sounds fun. With my love of the outdoors comes an interest in renewable energy and improving efficiency. My undergraduate researched focused on developing a prototype vertical axis wind turbine.

Home for me is located in central New York where I spent the first 21 years of my life.
