When was the fun: May 16-17, 2009
Who went: Mark, Kathleen, Russel, & Rebecca
Length or hike:
Time on the trail:
Distance from Boulder: ~ 1.5 hours
Adventure was near: Alma

The plan was to camp at Kite Lake which turned out to be snowed it and after getting my Subaru stuck in the road we decided to camp about a mile from the lake on the side of the road.

In the morning we had some fog which made it difficult to get oriented but the trail was marked well and we had a good map. As a bonus the fog made for some great views.

We made our way up Cameron Peak first. We had to snowshoe most of the way. After the summit Cameron we headed toward Lincoln and found a huge snowfield to sled down.

From the top of Lincoln we had a nice lunch with views of Bross and back to Cameron.

After lunch we headed to Bross to finish our third 14er of the day. Lucky for us, the trek down Bross was made a lot easier by a snowfield which we sledded a couple miles down almost all the way to the car.
